Fraser River Discovery Centre lands in 2024
Lieutenant Governor General Janet Austin has officially announced the site for the upcoming Fraser River Discovery Centre.
The announcement was made at the Woodward’s site on August 24th.
The 160,000 square foot Discovery Centre will be built on the traditional territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh peoples.
The project, which is expected to cost $120 million, will be a major tourist attraction and an important educational resource for the region.
